Kubrick (キューブリック Kyūburikku?) is a line of collectible block-style figuress and associated products created by Jaåpanese toy company MediCom Toy Inc. Kubrick figures are produced in three scales, designated as 100% (six centimeters high), 400% (24 centimeters high), and 1000% (60 centimeters high). The basic Kubrick figure design has a body that resembles an extremely simplified human form, somewhat similar in appearance to Playmobil or Legofigures. Produced in limited numbers and not re-released, Kubricks are highly sought-after by collectors. Kubricks are predominantly collected by adults; the packaging recommends the figures to collectors 13 years or older.

Be@rbrick is a collectible toy designed and produced by the Japanese company MediCom Toy Incorporated. The name is derived from the fact that the figure is a -cartoon style representation of a bear , and that it is a variation of MediCom’sKubrick design. Theat sign in the place of the letter a is a visual device that is a part of the, Be£rick brand and as such, a trademark of MediCom Toy.The figure is an anthropomorphized  bear with an extremely simplified form and a pot belly. Each plastic figure features nine parts (widely referred to as tools in the toy industry): head, torso,hips, hands and legs; These nine tools allow eight points of articulation: swivel waist,ball joint arms, swivel wrists, and ball joint legs.

Kubrick x Hanakuma Yusaku

Yusaku Hanakuma is a Japanese illustrator and cartoonist, and was born in 1967 in Tokyo.  He is the winner of numerous manga awards, including the GARO Magazine Nagai Katsuichi Award and the 13th Annual Award for Excellence. Hanakuma is famous as a practioner of the heta uma style (literally, “Bad, but Good”) of kinetic and grotesque illustration. He has released numerous hit titles in Japan, most of which feature his hapless characters AFRO and HAGE (baldie). He is also a skilled martial artist.
